- Compensation for this role is calibrated to market for the posted location and the specific experience level the client is targeting. - If selected, you will be employed by ApTask on W-2 payroll for the duration of your assignment. The Senior Pega Developer will:
Design, develop, and support complex Pega CLM solutions.
Lead implementation of Trigger Based Refresh and modernization activities.
Develop integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and external services.
Drive application performance optimization, resiliency, and security improvements.
Implement Pega best practices, guardrail compliance, and reusable framework components.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.
Partner with business, QA, platform, and vendor teams to accelerate solution delivery.
Primary Skill: Pega CLM
Secondary Skill: Pega / PegaRules Process Commander PRPC
Tertiary Skill: PostgreSQL
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of software development experience.
5 years of hands-on Pega development experience.
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Pega applications
Strong expertise in Pega CLM, Case Management, Flows, and Integrations.
Experience with Java, REST APIs, SQL, XML, and Enterprise Application Integration.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale Pega applications.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
Master's degree preferred but not required
Financial Services / AML / KYC domain experience
Experience with Pega Constellation, Blueprint, and GenAI capabilities.
Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred
