Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead Azure cloud transformation initiatives by designing, reviewing, and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will partner with customer application teams, provide technical leadership, develop cloud architectures, and drive migration, governance, security, and optimization strategies across Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Consulting:

Provide architecture consulting and technical thought leadership for Azure cloud solutions.
Collaborate with customer application teams to define cloud adoption strategies and governance.
Conduct architecture reviews and recommend best practices and improvements.
Create architecture artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, reference architectures, and technical documentation).
Document cloud deployment architectures and application landscapes.
Support application teams with cloud risk assessments and cloud service evaluations.
Participate in cloud service vetting and technology selection processes.

Cloud Engineering:

Resolve complex Azure infrastructure and platform issues.
Design and implement new cloud solutions based on customer requirements.
Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new technologies and cloud services.
Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and recommend improvements.

Azure Infrastructure & Migration:

Design Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions for enterprise workloads.
Develop implementation roadmaps for Disaster Recovery (DR) across Azure environments.
Plan and execute Azure migration strategies, including workload sizing and Azure VM selection.
Design Azure networking solutions including:
- Virtual Networks (VNet)
- Site-to-Site VPN
- ExpressRoute
- Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
Assess current ("As-Is") infrastructure and design future-state ("To-Be") cloud architectures.
Develop cloud technology roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategies.

Azure Platform Services

Design and troubleshoot Azure platform services, including:
- Azure SQL
- Azure App Services (Web Apps)
- Azure Application Gateway
- Azure CDN
- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Authentication
