About the role
The Planner Contractor will provide tactical planning and execution support to ensure the timely flow of materials, accuracy of inventory transactions, and continuity of daily operations. This role focuses on transactional execution, data maintenance, and basic analysis to support production and supply chain stability.
In this function, you will:
Perform daily work order and inventory transactions, including stocking, material releases, and cycle counts, ensuring system accuracy and alignment with physical inventory.
Update and maintain standard reports to support routine operational meetings and enable informed decision-making.
Review and monitor quality-related items, including non-conforming material and rework orders, ensuring appropriate visibility and system updates.
Perform basic purchase order (PO) transactions on an as-needed basis to support material availability and flow.
Support material flow execution by ensuring transactions are completed accurately and on time to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
Maintain data integrity within ERP/MRP systems through accurate and timely updates to inventory, work orders, and related records.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business related field or minimum 2 year material planning experience in a manufacturing environment
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). No relocation will be offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50 mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree from accredited institution.
Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
Experience with cross-functional process improvement teams.
Experience operating within a mature SIOP environment.
High level of analytical skills unitizing ERP data, identifying trends and exceptions.
CPIM certification.
Prior knowledge in machining within the aerospace industry.
