Rate Range: $100-$120/Hr
Job Description:
- The Program Lead will drive a large compensation redesign effort spanning all commission and bonus constructs (84+) across North America for roughly 3,000 employees. The work touches pay benchmarking, plan mechanics, quota methodology, eligibility, and rollout, each with a different executive stakeholder.
- The leadership, governance, and change management of this redesign requires is a full-time job on its own in addition to the subject matter expert support that will be provided by the team.
- Chairs the steering committee and design authority; maintains the decision log, RACI, and design principles; manages approval gates for plan design, eligibility, and pay levels; secures documented Finance, HR, Legal, and RevOps sign-off.
- Owns the stakeholder map and communication plan; produces executive and sales leader updates; manages messaging on plan changes to the impacted parties; Assists with coordination of training and rollout readiness.
- Program and vendor management
- Owns the master plan, milestones, and risks; closes the open SOW scope gaps with SBI, including full coverage of the 84+ plans and Appendix A; tracks deliverables and manages change requests.
- Partners with Sales Compensation on plan inventory, role-to-plan eligibility, benchmarking inputs, and modeling; pressure-tests SBI recommendations against Insight operating reality.
- Serves as the single named point of contact for SBI and owns the day to day working relationship with the SBI partner and engagement team.
- Runs the weekly status and steering committee cadence across time zones; controls the flow of Insight data, plan inventories and scope schedules to SBI so it goes across once and complete.
- Coordinates the internal stakeholders SBI needs access to across Finance, HR, Sales leadership, RevOps and the Solution Lines, and schedules and prepares them so SBI time is not spent chasing inputs. Holds SBI to the SOW deliverables and timeline, and escalates to Mary and Bhargavi where Insight is the constraint.
- This is not a coordinator role. The person needs enough seniority and scar tissue to hold their own with CEO, CFO, SVPs, and with sales leaders whose teams are affected. Requirements:
- Prior sales operations experience is a must have. The lead has to understand quota, crediting, plan mechanics and pay administration well enough to challenge a recommendation, not simply record it.
- Experienced. We should be hiring at a senior level and expect someone who has run a compensation redesign or comparable transformation end to end before, not someone learning on our engagement.
- Proven vendor and consultant management, ideally having sat opposite a firm like SBI on a prior engagement.
- Credibility with executive stakeholders and comfort operating across Finance, HR, Legal and Sales leadership.
- Strong program discipline. Owns a plan, a decision log and a risk register, and keeps a 3,000 person, 84 plan scope from drifting.
