Job Description:
- *** is seeking an Embedded Software / Firmware Engineer with a strong focus on DPS or microcontrollers for its Power Electronics and Battery Management System (Client) products.
- This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and validation of embedded software / firmware for power conversion and battery management systems.
- The role will involve DPS or microcontrollers programming, testing, troubleshooting, and driving the adoption of model-based techniques throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
- DPS or microcontrollers Programming: Develop and implement firmware for power electronics and battery management system products
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform testing and debugging of firmware, utilizing various debugging tools, simulators, and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
- Model-Based Design: Utilization and adoption of model-based design methodologies, including simulation, modeling, and automatic code generation to enhance the NPI process.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, system engineers, and other cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated solutions for power electronics and Client applications.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, test plans, and DVT reports.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in the development of embedded firmware for embedded systems
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in DPS or microcontrollers programming
- Experience with C or C++ coding for DPS or microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems o Good written and verbal communication skills.
