Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, API testing, SQL, and Agile methodologies. Experience in insurance or banking domains is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute API testing using Postman or SoapUI and validate request/response data.
- Write SQL queries to validate backend data and perform database testing.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Client ALM.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure software quality.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect reports.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with TestNG, Maven, and automation framework development.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Client ALM.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of XML/JSON and REST/SOAP web services.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
