| Job Summary: Provides department support in a full range of HR functional areas including recruiting, pre-boarding, on/off-boarding, record keeping, employee communications, data entry in HR systems, implementing HR initiatives and events. Supports administrative aspects of employee relations and compliance activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) Supports recruiting process for contracted positions including but not limited to: o Schedules interviews for candidates, calendaring meetings, problem-solving, and communication with candidates and vendors. o Manages contractor timesheets o Conducts new hire orientation. o Answers incoming calls and inquiries from employees. o Process HRIS request (ADP, Workforce) o Maintain personnel files and HR spreadsheets. o Assist employees with general questions and concerns including employee self-serve training o Create, and distribute company memos as needed or required o Work closely with temporary agency onsite personnel to collect and process timecards. o Make copies of files Enters employee transactions in the HR systems. Keep HR deadlines organized Manages HR front desk Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Supports administration of various compliance and employee programs such as unemployment claims administration, and other functional activities. Assists with the planning and execution of employee activities and programs handling respective logistics, and leads the Employee Engagement Committee. Creates communications to publicize upcoming employee events using the different available communication channels. Develops and maintains standard work instructions for processes and tasks in assigned areas of responsibility. Develops subject matter expert knowledge and expertise in assigned areas of responsibility and cross-trains others as necessary. Assists with preparation of reports (e.g. weekly exceptions report, ADP payroll audits) Provides administrative support to the department. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Requires a High School diploma OR Associate s degree in HR, business, or relevant field experience strongly preferred Experience: Requires minimum 1 - 3 years experience in similar role in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Experience with HR information systems, Success Factors and ADP, Excel, pivot tables, Word , mail merges, and experience in Monday a plus. Certificates PHR certification a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Requires: Bilingual English Spanish is a must. Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Proficient in the use of HRIS, Time & Attendance/Payroll System, ATS, LMS (Success Factors, ADP Workforce, preferred) Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions Intermediate-advanced math skills Strong planning skills and critical thinking ability with orientation for continuous improvement Highly effective communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures Flexibility in dealing with a variety of business partners, situations and requirements while remaining calm under pressure of multiple tasks and demands.
